Junior Vet Academy gives kids and teens an exciting, hands-on introduction to veterinary medicine. Through age-appropriate animal care, veterinary skill-building, and guidance from veterinary professionals, students gain confidence while discovering what it means to care for animals. Based at 1870 Farm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, our programs include Kids Vet Club workshops, day camps and immersive overnight veterinary camp experiences.
Kids Vet Club: Hands-On Learning Throughout the Year
Kids Vet Club offers workshops, camps and special programs for young animal lovers ready to explore veterinary medicine. Participants practice age-appropriate veterinary skills, learn responsible animal care and work directly with animals in a supportive farm environment.
Junior Vet Academy: Immersive Veterinary Summer Camps
Junior Vet Academy offers immersive day and overnight summer camps for kids and teens who want to explore veterinary medicine more deeply. Campers practice veterinary skills, work with a variety of animals and learn about animal health and veterinary careers through hands-on activities guided by veterinary professionals. Each program is designed to build knowledge, confidence, friendships and independence.
