An unprecedented opportunity for children ages 9-15 to learn and enjoy themselves in a one of a kind environment.

 

Campers will be exposed to a diverse population of animals in both farm and clinical settings. Our camp is based out of the award winning 1870 Farm in the heart of Chapel Hill. Campers will also have the opportunity to experience a fieldtrip visit to veterinary center or animal rescues.

JVA Camp is a chance for children to learn what a day in a veterinarian's life might entail - a truly enriching and eye opening opportunity. Our goal is to educate and inspire while providing a fun experience for our campers.

Parents, Junior Vet Academy is the next level in our programming. It is intended for mature students who have a interest in an animal health related career.  We complete more advanced dissection and discuss sensitive topics that may not be appropriate for some younger students.   Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
